HI, Dody
I know this comment is a year late...but I just found your blog! I happen to be making pizza dough at the moment and using the left over dough for the cinnamon swirls just like you do with your left over pie crust. That is exactly what our family has done for years! How funny!~ My oven is awaiting me to roll them out and put them in. Next, I'll put the ingredients on the pizza and do that in about an hour. I like the looks of your pie crust recipe...I'll have to try it.
So fun to find your blogs!

I love that idea for pinwheels, Dody. How can I be as old as I am without knowing that use for leftover dough? Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

When I come visit England, will you take me to the magical farmhouse in the middle of nowhere? Sounds wonderful and quintessentially English! I am working up to posting more again. I have three biographies I want to blog about...I am loving your blog!

Dody, The Divine Pie Maker.

I love the cinnamon roll idea! I am about to make a Sweet Potato Pie (but I have to tell my dad and brother that it is a Pumpkin pie because they won't eat it if they think it is made of vegetables... yes, I know pumpkin is a vegetable too, but I'm not sure they do!). Anyway, I'm totally going to make cinnamon rolls too!

Have the best Thanksgiving! I love you and your whole family!!

Brilliant, Dody Jane. Where have you been? I have been missing your posts. And this one is so evocative and so timely - for Thanksgiving, my favourite holiday. Unfortunately no pumpkin pie here, but quince cake (maybe an English alternative) to be consumed in a magical farmhouse in the middle of nowhere.
Have a good day,
