Hi! Fashion Plates were featured in magazines in the 19th century. They usually included articles on fashion, house decoration and information from the period. Articles and such. One famous publication was Rudolph Ackermann’s Repository of Arts and Literature. I collect the original fashion illustrations. They are so pretty!
